Our History
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
Deuteronomy 7:9
Round Hill began in 1979 as a mission of Lexington Baptist Church on Main Street in Lexington. What started as a small group with a big vision has grown into a thriving, self-supporting Southern Baptist church located in one of the fastest-growing areas of Lexington County. From the very beginning, our heart has been to share the hope of Jesus Christ with our community.
As God has blessed and expanded our ministry, Round Hill has continued to grow to meet the needs around us. In 2004, we added a multipurpose building to create more opportunities for worship, fellowship, and service. In recent years, the Lord has provided additional property, bringing our campus to more than 17 acres. This includes our Manna House food pantry, which serves families in need, as well as facilities that support outreach efforts such as disaster relief and community ministries.
Today, Round Hill remains committed to growing in faith, serving others, and reaching people both in our community and beyond. We would love for you and your family to join us as we worship together, build lasting relationships, and share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
